John Gibson is a Brooklyn-based architectural renderer dedicated to representing architecture, interiors and landscape designs for clients in the US and Europe. His watercolor technique captures the particular qualities of an interior or exterior space through a careful rendering of color, texture and detail and sophisticated treatment of light and shade. He is also an accomplished draughtsman with an artist’s sense of composition; the results are both precise and evocative. 

Trained in architecture at Edinburgh University and the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London, John worked in Paris and Los Angeles before settling in New York where he serves international clients in high-end projects.

He makes use of digital programs such as SketchUp and Photoshop to facilitate and enhance his images but the finished renderings are executed by hand- a timeless method which brings a lot more originality and character than computer generated images.
